The HALscan 10.20 galvo scanner is a low-cost but high-accuracy laser galvo scanhead which is certified to support the new, open and future-proof XY3-100 digital scanner interface with 20 bit resolution. This scanning head is fully adjusted, ready to use and only needs to be electrically connected for operation. It provides the following features: |
- 10 mm aperture
- XY3-100 input signal
- optionally a close to linear behaviour operation mode can be enabled, removing the necessity to use a correction table
- high 20 bit digital resolution
- position extrapolation in case of data transmission errors to avoid random burn-in points
- +-15 V power supply
- simple 1:1 connection with E1803D controller card
- simple 1:1 connection with E1701D controller card and E1701dock possible via standard D-SUB25 cable
- full operation with any other XY3-100 scanner controller
- low idle power consumption
- available for all relevant laser types/wave lengths
- industry-standard mounting interface
The HALscan 10N20 galvo scanner is a special variation of the 10 mm aperture scanhead which makes use of the slim two-wire NX-02 digital scanner interface with 20 bit resolution. This scanning head is fully adjusted, ready to use and only needs to be electrically connected for operation. It provides the following features:
- 10 mm aperture
- NX-02 input signal
- high 20 bit digital resolution
- position extrapolation in case of data transmission errors to avoid random burn-in points
- +-15 V power supply
- simple 1:1 connection with NX-02 extension for the E1803D controller card possible via standard D-SUB25 cable
- simple connection with E1702S controller card
- full operation with any other NX-02 or SL2-100™ scanner controller
- low idle power consumption
- available for all relevant laser types/wave lengths
- industry-standard mounting interface
The NX-02 protocol itself is a new, open, future-proof standard for communication between scanner controller card and scanhead.
It transmits all control signals
via two signal wires and therefore is the first choice in all cases where is only litte space for wiring.
It provides full 20 bit position resolution in 2D and 3D
as well as a position feedback channel.
In 2D mode NX-02 is backwards compatible to other serial scanner interface protocols.
